Stephanie Owens-Burkhart is a graduate of the University of Miami Doctorate of Physical Therapy program (Go Canes!). She has her BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University. She is Pilates for Rehabilitation certified through one of the world’s leading Pilates programs – Polestar Pilates. In addition, she has her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy and Illinois Physical Therapy Associations, and is certified in Dry Needling and CranioSacral Therapy.
Dr. Owens-Burkhart is committed to treating the patient in a holistic manner, using a variety of techniques, such as: manual therapy, identifying and correcting muscle imbalances, Pilates and yoga inspired exercises, as well as functional movement screening and sport-specific training/rehab programs. As an athlete herself, she is well educated on developing treatment programs to both rehab existing injuries and preventing future injuries. With her broad skill set, she is focused on developing an effective and individualized plan of care for her patients. Stephanie loves traveling, Pilates!, CrossFit, Yoga, Meditation, trying new restaurants, drinking good wine and going on every new adventure that she can!

Helen Owens is the founder and owner of Orthopedic Physical Therapy Services, LLC in Homer Glen, IL since 1988. Her emphasis is in Orthopedics and practices as a manual physical therapist with a hands-on approach to patient care. She has publications related to shoulder, elbow, head and neck dysfunction, TMJ, and connective tissue changes due to joint immobilization. She is experienced in Kinesiotaping and foot orthotics and routinely incorporates both with her care.
She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and the Illinois Physical Therapy Private Practice Forum. She began teaching at Northwestern University in 1982 and currently guest lectures on head and neck treatment at both Northwestern and Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Science.
Helen enjoys hanging out by the lake (with Phoebe the dog, of course), spending time with family and friends, going to museums, and travel.

Sue is a graduate of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences Master of Physical Therapy Program. She has been a part of the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Services team since 2001. She treats orthopedic and sports related injuries, including but not limited to: back and neck injuries, shoulder dysfunction, rotator cuff repairs, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, pre and post operative hip and knee replacements, plantar fascitis, TMJ dysfunctions, balance dysfunction, and much more.
Sue believes in using a holistic approach and enjoys treating patients one-on-one. She utilizes modalities as appropriate, manual therapy techniques, and individualized exercise programs to help her patients achieve their therapy goals while minimizing their risk of re-injury. Sue is a busy mother to four children. In her spare time, she enjoys attending her children’s activities, running, biking, reading and making memories with her family.

Rena is a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and a Basi Certified Pilates Instructor. She is highly skilled in manual therapy, Pilates-based rehab techniques, KinesioTaping, ISTYM, and much more.
She is passionate about empowering the patient or client to take control of their health and wellness and reach their full potential. She uses a holistic treatment approach and individually tailors each treatment session. She is a hand-on practitioner with the main goal of getting you out of pain.
Rena is a doting Dog Mom to her German Shepard – Mocha. She enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time with her fiance, Dave.

Taylor is a Certified Yoga Instructor and teaches Pilates as well. She believes in teaching from the heart – to create a safe, sacred space in a judgement-free zone for those to come sit, breathe, move, feel and heal.
Living with anxiety and depression, she came to yoga to help heal – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She had such a profound experience with yoga and meditation, she wanted to share that knowledge and experience with others!
She believes life isn’t only black and white – that it’s pink, blue, green, purple, yellow, orange, red with a little sparkle in between. This shows in her classes and teaching style. Laughter is medicine! Taylor creates a playful atmosphere with lots of smiles. Her classes will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.
Taylor enjoys the little things in life. She enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, watching the sunset, Yoga, Meditation, Pilates, good craft beers, traveling, her kitty – Luna Bean, and expanding her consciousness.

Toni is a Basi Certified Pilates Instructor that aims to make classes safe, fun, and challenging. Her attention to the details make her classes perfect for beginners and seasoned Pilates practitioners alike. She is also a 200hr Certified Yoga Instructor. Her goal is to have each person feel better, physically and mentally, after each class.

Anne is passionate about providing the best possible massage therapy. She has a strong interest in working with people in pain or with injuries – both old and new. She communicates with the client to tailor a comprehensive, individualized treatment that will meet your every massage therapy need.
She is a graduate of the Soma Institute: The National School of Clinical Massage Therapy, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a member of The American Massage Therapy Association. She is certified in Pre and Post-Natal massage as well as IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation). Anne enjoys being outside in nature and being as active as she can with both friends and family.
